The Department of Neuroscience is home to the undergraduate neuroscience major. The requirements and courses for the major are detailed in the Undergraduate Program section of this website.

The University of Minnesota offers a graduate degree in neuroscience. A related degree is described on the Computational Neuroscience Graduate Program website. Links to websites with information on other educational programs related to neuroscience are listed in the Related Programs section of this website.

The Department of Neuroscience provides courses for undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Current Course Offerings are listed, by semester, including links to those courses which are web-enhanced.

The Department of Neuroscience Seminar Series is offered during the academic year, and provides a showcase for national and local neuroscience specialists. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to take advantage of presentations on the latest, most innovative research in neuroscience and related fields.

The Graduate Program in Neuroscience sponsors the Colloquium Series. Speakers include national and local neuroscientists, as well as students from the Graduate Program in Neuroscience.

Local Conferences and Symposia are periodically offered throughout the academic year. A variety of neuroscience topics have been presented.
