To register for directed studies:
1. Discuss a plan for independent study
with a faculty member who will agree to be the course instructor
for you. Click
here to view a list of health sciences faculty who have served
as instructors for directed courses or select a mentor from the
Department of Neuroscience
faculty list.
2. Pick up a contract form from the Department of
Neuroscience student services coordinator:

You may also obtain a contract form from the Student Services Office
of the College of Biological Sciences, 223 Snyder, St Paul Campus.
3. Complete the contract form, including your signature,
your instructor's signature and the signature of Kathleen Clinton. Please note that for
Item #3 on the contract, you must be graded on the basis of a brief
written paper. The form of the paper is at the discretion of the instructor.
4. Return the signed
form to Kathleen Clinton, who will issue a permission number to you for
this course. |
