PHIL BARBOSA - 2004

Currently attending... my first year of Medical School at the University of Minnesota and finding my Neuroscience background to be coming in very handy!
Getting a Neuroscience Degree... has been a huge help in the Medical Neuroscience course. I've already seen quite a bit of the material, and since it is supposedly the hardest course of the first two years of Med School, I'm thankful that I've got a leg up on the material!
Advice for current majors
... watch out for Theoretical Neuro! It's a great class, but probably the hardest I took as an undergraduate. You'll learn a ton, but work hard! If you're planning on going to Grad School, the key is doing well in school, getting to know your profs and getting good letters of recommendation.
